Sunday June 1st. Arrived in Les Cerqueux sous Passavant yesterday and feel at home already. I'm just not a city girl, I like smaller towns and fresh country air. Took these photos today on a walk thru Les Cerqueux sous Passavant.
Sunday Morning. We drove to the nearby village of Nueil-sur-Layon for a stroll through the town and look, from a distance, at a chateau dating from the middle ages.
Saturday morning May 31st. Checked out of my Paris hotel, then took a taxi to Gare Montparnasse where I caught a train to Angers. In Angers I picked up a car from Hertz and, driving in France for the first time, immediately began to question my judgement.
